Governance
AUSA is a registered non-profit society under the Alberta Societies Act. We believe a safety association should hold itself to the same standard of accountability it asks of its members.

How We Operate
Our bylaws are filed with Alberta Corporate Registry and available to any member on request. Our fiscal year runs [start] to [end]. Financial statements are reviewed annually and presented to the membership at our Annual General Meeting.

Accountability
As a non-profit, 10% of AUSA's revenue is donated annually to Alberta charities. This commitment is written into how we operate, and we publish where it goes. See our Community Investment reporting on the Impact page.
